CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATING NEWS (update by every month)
Tussle of authorities leaves Ambedkar Market in limbo
If the inordinate delay in completing the construction of Dr BR Ambedkar’s multi-purpose building at Mahadevapura is any indication, one can easily guess the perfunctory attitude of the authorities concerned. The building was meant for providing training for people from poor families, especially from scheduled caste and scheduled tribes.
The construction of the building commenced on December 5, 2009 and expected to be completed within three years. The deadline is just six months away but the Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Limited (KRIDL) has completed only the construction of the basement. The work for the remaining portion of the building is yet to begin.
