QuestMX is composed of four integrated applications; QuestMX Digital Takeoff, QuestMX Estimator, QuestMX Earthwork and QuestMX Earthwork Digital Takeoff.
All estimating permissions are disabled by default when a new user profile is created. Each user's permissions must be configured individually.
QuestMX Estimator has an Import/Export Tool that can import files with a .txt or .csv extension (ASCII files). This can be used to import catalog data such as individual cost items. Entire libraries/catalogs can't be imported into QuestMX. If you have a custom catalog built in another program or even a previous version from Maxwell Systems, you will have to rebuild it in QuestMX.
3D visual assemblies allow users to actually see what a project will look like based on take-offs and estimate information. Visual assemblies are add-ons to the QuestMX package. These visualizations provide a unique perspective on estimates and can be expanded to show each individual component of an assembly.
