Construction project list long, funding short

BATON ROUGE — As usual, the Legislature put far more projects into the 2014 state construction plan than can be funded.

Also, as usual, the governor and his top administration officials will decide what gets funded.

 

But what’s not usual in the coming fiscal year is a list of $250 million in community/technical college construction projects to be funded outside of that construction plan, referred to as HB2 or the Capital Outlay Bill.
