In main bar, there is 8 mm diameter.
Stirrup contains 6 mm diameter of the 10? center to center distance. The depth of the bar is 15? and width is 10?. The total length is taken as 8 feet. The clear over on all the sides is 1?.
Length of one single bar = 8 feet = 96? ? 2? (subtracting clear cover 1? on both sides) = 94?
Length of four numbers of bars = 94? x 4 = 376? = 31.34? = 9.55 m
The following formula is used to find out the weight of the steel in main bars with 8 mm dia :-
D2 x L/162 = 82 x 9.55/162 = 3.77 kg
